Excellent After Shave -Shave Cream Just OK
I have used just about every shaving cream in gel on the market. From the newest Gillette offerings to the super high end oils and spa based preparations. I was excited to try the Men's Science products in this kit. The aftershave more than met expectations as a soother and helped end an ingrown hair in under 10 days. However the shave cream fell short of expectations; there was insufficient glide even a brand-new power fusion razor and blade. The hairs do not stand up so there was stubble on the chin and on the corners of the mouth--to be fair the only cream that has worked on these areas for me has been the Baxter preparation. The shave it was not bad or not comfortable it just required more work and more blade time that one would expect in a product at this level. This week's experiment will be to try a thin layer of blue emu oil under the shave cream. I'll let you know. Try it for yourself but keep your expectations in line for the shave cream the aftershave Turner I recommend without hesitation or qualification.
